Found this from the RPG Carnival. Awesome stuff. If you fancy resurrecting it; I recommend John Whitbourn's A Dangerous Energy (an alternate history where demonology is given to Church-sponsored universities during the English Civil War) and Kim Newman's Anno Dracula (Victorian horror pastiche at it's finest where Dracula marries Queen Victoria).

I was using my own system for this but it isn’t very good, so I am redeveloping. At this stage my aim is to reconfigure AD&D to more closely fit the kind of world I envisage – this is the point of my “reconfiguring AD&D” posts.

Thanks for your interest, I’ll try and keep posting things here which are, I hope, worth paying attention to.

interesting…very interesting. Cut from a different cloth than the same old same old.

I’m curious, what ruleset are you using? I caught the AD&D reference, but there are several niche systems that still use variations of that edition.
